My philosophy of teaching is that all students are unique and must have a stimulating education environment. That way, they will be able to develop not just language abilities, but physical, mental, emotion and social ones.  I believe that a good atmosphere for learning should follow these statements: the teacher is a guide, activities must be challenging and fun and students must be encouraged to be curious and innovative.  One of the roles a teacher has is to act as a guide. About me

Hello!  Welcome to my journey! A journey through learning. My name is Renata, I'm 37 years old and I'm from Brazil. I've been living in Bariloche, Argentina since 2012. Before moving to Patagonia, I lived in Washington, DC for two and a half years and in Curitiba, Brazil. Teaching happened in my life just a few years ago. I have a degree in Journalism and worked in the field for about 7 years until I moved to the US. Being a Journalist has helped me with the most challenging job I've ever dreamt of: the teaching job.  I've started teaching Portuguese in 2014 with no experience whatsoever. Two years later, I decided I wanted to follow this path and enrolled in "Profesorado de Inglés online" at Lenguas Vivas Bariloche. My passion for the English language and my enthusiasm for teaching are my tools to move forward. I'm currently teaching Portuguese in two public school and Portuguese and English in a private Language School.
